The Eco cruises sets of daily on-board Ocean Quest from Hermanus new Harbour. The cruise is a relaxing but educational tour of our coast line either under motor, or sail if the winds allow. Throughout the trip the crew gives educational talks about Hermanus and the historical sites that you sail past.  Year round we are entertained with sightings of our local cape fur seals and also the jackass penguin, better known as the African penguin. Sightings of dolphins and Bryde's Whales are possible at all times of year, although not guaranteed.

This cruise is ideal for families and couples that would like to spend a relaxing 90 min of their day taking in the sights of Walker bay and Hermanus. The trip is fun, educational and relaxing. Soft drinks and water is available throughout the trip and there is also blankets on-board in case guests start to get cold.

Ocean Quest is a fully licenced commercial sailing vessel with a certified and well experienced commercially endorsed crew. She complies with South African Maritime Safety Authorities' rules and regulations. The safety of all guests and crew onboard the vessel is insured at all times.
